Children will learn the basic concepts of clay slabs and coils, sculpture and
glazing techniques
Each session runs for five weeks from
3:30 to 5:00

Sculpt your ideas into clay.
Students will learn the basic concepts of clay, using the slab and coil
construction method.
Sculpture, starts with a lump of clay and turns it into a fabulous work of
art.
Glazing and decorating techniques will finish off your sculpture..
Responsive & Interactive Students react and get ideas from their peers.

Starting from the beginning to the end students focus on the project they are making. Children and adult's love making vessels out of a lump of clay and it's wonderful to watch that lump of clay come to life. At Potters Addict we strive to give each individual the perfect clay experience. Once the clay is glaze fired it becomes something that can last a lifetime or more. New this year. Fee for a five week of intensive clay courses $275.00 unlimited studio time to come in and practice.

Potters Addict studio occasionally hosts workshops and special classes in clay and glazing techniques as well as other mediums.
Out of Towner's $72.50, per person plus clay for a 1.5 hour class
Come to work or have a private class or classes at our working studio. We will fire and if requested glaze your works and send you a fantastic finished product.

Children will learn the basic concepts of pottery hand building, sculpture and glazing techniques as well as various fun loving art projects. Art projects include: Hand built pottery, sculpture, painting, original card making techniques, Oil marbling techniques, acrylic painting techniques on canvas.

This is an opportunity for your children to discover the Therapeutic, Educational, and creative way children will learn about clay art classes at Potters Addict Ceramic Art Centre. Children will learn the foundation of clay. They will explore hand building and sculpture techniques using slab and coil methods as well as decorating and glazing techniques. Participants will go on to make one project on the pottery wheel if time permits. We ask for permission to take photos of kids at work for our social media page
