Potters Addict Workshop News Work shop Event of the New Year Date: TBA pottersaddict.com Learn about a variety of wheel techniques from clay preparation ,extruding clay for production , centering shapes for throwing different pots or plates, throwing off the hump lids,bowls,spouts,goblets etc production throwing ,a series of honey pots and mugs using the laser light for pot sizes and lid fit altering clay after throwing fish trays throwing French butter dish Rolled handles for fish tray lion feet for interesting ware Throwing a large twisted scored vase (very interesting to see) Turning pots using bisque fired chucks (a variation of Paul Davis idea) This plus other inspirations from 40 years of workshops and observations from many Great potters techniques that have been mastered including throwing a large slab of clay without the use of a slab roller,mugs thrown then altered , adding extruded handles and feet to slab pots making chunky mugs that are very popular.
